Maxime Perron, PhD
Assistant Professor
Maxime Perron is an Assistant Professor in the Audiology Program at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Ottawa.
His research investigates the neurobiological mechanisms associated with age-related difficulties in speech-in-noise perception. His work combines controlled laboratory tasks with more naturalistic and conversational approaches to understand auditory and neural processing in everyday communication.
He is also interested in individual differences in auditory aging and in strategies that may support successful communication across adulthood, including hearing technologies and musical experience.
